Just some quick reviews of some more bands I've taken the time to listen to. I'll get to posting links to downloads eventually. But if any poor fucker read's this, it probably won't be soon:
ALL SHALL PERISH
Been listening to a lot of Deathcore lately, this was one of them. I wouldn't call them amazing, however. There's only 2 Deathcore bands I can truly call amazing. Those will be brought up later.
WINDS OF PLAGUE
Much better than I was expecting. I like the symphonic elements especially. Like Demon Burger but not, you know, gay.
WHITECHAPEL
shit's weak. NEXT BAND!
AS WINTER BURNS WHITE
One of the two Deathcore bands that I can call MOTHER FUCKING AMAZING! Or as I like to call them, Superdeathsexcore. They basically combine Brutal Death Metal, Technical Death Metal, Deathcore, and Metalcore. It may not be your cup of tea if you're a fan of Thrash, but any Techdeath or Deathcore fan is sure to love these guys. Sadly, they don't even have a full album out. Just a demo and an extra track. I just hope they stay together to kick ass some more.
TEGAN AND SARA
I want to put T&S here because, even though I first listened to them BEFORE I decided to review almost everything I listen to, they quickly became one of my favorite bands, so why the fuck not? (And I've already uploaded almost everything they have for one of my friends, so it's easy to post it here.) Basically, they're fucking awesome. Doesn't seem like much. Some twins from Canada, make Indie Pop music. Who cares right? Eheheh... WRONG! If you think that, go fuck yourself. Well I'm trying to keep this brief, so I'll end with this. THE CON RULES!
BOTCH
Good Metalcore. Very similar to Converge and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Kinda mathy, kinda awesome. 'Nuff said.
MUSE
Shit's weak. MOVING ON!
RETURN FROM EXILE
Last band I feel like doing right now. This is the other AMAZING Deathcore band. (AKA Superdeathsexcore) They are interesting. The first time you start up something like The Departed, it seems like a Progressive Metal band like Opeth, but once you get into the song more, you start to hear it. It's Deathcore alright. Breakdowns and everything. But what separates RFE from most other Deathcore bands is, indeed, their fantastic guitar work. It's beautiful, there's no other way to put it.

The White Stripes
Ok, this is a band I've known about for fucking years now, but never really bothered listening to any of their stuff. What I heard before just came off as boring, but a friend urged me to listen to Icky Thump and White Blood Cells, and now I fucking love him for it. First off, their discography as a whole is just amazing and probably one of the more diverse discographies I've listened to. And easily one of the best. (It's up there with Pavement, The Birthday Massacre, Sonic Youth, Tegan and Sara, etc...) Most bands like this, you just hear the same sound, a few chords, some OK drums, and so on. While the drums are quite slow, (Meg really isn't a good drummer), it fits the music, and the creativity of Jack White is amazing. This isn't one of those bands where the songs start to run together. Each one has it's own distinct charm to it, and I have yet to really get confused.
Best songs at the moment:
We're Going to be Friends
Walking With a Ghost (Tegan and Sara cover)
My Doorbell
You Don't Know What Love Is
Conquest
I Think I Smell a Rat
Fell in Love With a Girl

brand new eyes LEAK!
Well, not quite a leak. I think it came out in Brazil or something and, of course, people graciously put it on the interwebs. And if you're a Paramore fanatic, like myself, you are probably as excited as I am, if not more.
brand new eyes
the old link was removed.
that one should work.
I know the name is "nickleback lol"
it's to hopefully avoid it getting taken down.

Cormorant
Cormorant - Metazoa (2009)
Cormorant is a band that is pretty tough to classify, mainly because they incorporate so MANY genres in their music. This is especially evident in Metazoa, but after you listen to it, you probably won't even want to bother classifying it as anything other than a a fucking masterpiece. Everything from the bass guitar to the lyrics is done so perfectly, it's impossible to listen to this album and just go "meh." One must first experience the audible sensations for themselves.
Cormorant - The Last Tree (2007)
Another great album, less progressive than Metazoa, but Ballad of the Beast has that Metazoa-esque feel to it. Uhh, crap. Writer's block. Fuck, whatever.
Yeah, listen to them heathens.

Suicide Silence & Me trying not to be lazy
Ok, first thing's first. I doubt anyone READS this shit, but yeah. I've been slacking, and also since I've decided to expand my music horizons even further, I figured I might as well do something a little extra with it. So, almost every new album I listen to is going to get a review on here, good or bad. And the first band that gets is honor is Suicide Silence. Love 'em or hate 'em, PULL THE TRIGGER BITCH is one of the funniest lines you'll ever here in music. Although, nothing comes close to Mastodon's "Blood and Thunder." But anyway, TO THE REVIEWS!
All of these reviews were off my 2nd time listening to the album. 2nd impressions are generally more reliable than the first.
Suicide Silence - Suicide Silence (2005)
A very solid album. The songs tend to sound the same, but that really shouldn't matter as long as they're good. Deathcore's not exactly famous for being original, but if you're looking for some good stuff, look right here. And lol at SS using an A7x riff. (Although I'm betting Syn took it from someone else.) They put it to better use too. Unholy Confessions is a terrible song.
Suicide Silence - The Cleansing (2007)
Awesome album right here. If you're a fan of Deathcore, or hell, even a Death Metal fan, I recommending giving this at least one listen. Possibly the best Deathcore album I've heard yet, although I can't confirm that is because The Black Dahlia Murder's "Miasma" and As Blood Runs Blacks' "Allegiance." It's definitely an album worth listening to at least once. (And hopefully more, if you like it.)
Suicide Silence - Green Monster (2008)
A 3-song EP. Not much more to say. Although they covered a Deftones song on here, and it's always fun to listen to covers to see what kind of spin a band put's on another band's song.
Suicide Silence - No Time to Bleed (2009)
This was the first Suicide Silence album I listened to. And my first impression was not favorable at all. I found it to be very boring and lack-luster. However, my 2nd impression was much more favorable. I listened to it along with the rest of the discography and it was actually very enjoyable. Probably not better then The Cleansing, but a solid album nonetheless. Don't let first impressions fool you. You might never discover your favorite band if you go solely off of your first impression.
Perfect example for me = The Birthday Massacre. I hated them at first, now I'm dying for their new release next spring.
